Challenge 24 - Lickhill Primary School Minibus Appeal
CHALLENGE 24
On Friday 12th July, Miss Lambert, Mr Mundie, Mr Williams, Mr D and Mr Roberts will take on 24 hours of exercise to raise money for a school mini bus.
It has been increasingly more difficult to afford transport for our children to participate in local sports events, so we want to make a difference and ensure that the cost of transport is not a barrier for our children to access sports events in the future. This year we have been able to make so many memories for our children as part of attending such events and we want this to be continued. Without vital funds, we simply won’t be able to maintain and offer our children these wonderful opportunities.
Being able to purchase our own mini bus will allow our students to access many external events, aside from sporting activities to support their learning in a variety of subjects, as well as activities at our school holiday clubs.
Throughout the 24 hours, the five teachers will be involved in many different activities which will include fitness exercises, sports matches, a whole school dance fitness session and a community dog walk! Children will also be taking part in activities throughout the school day to help raise money and also cheer their teachers on!
We would be really grateful for any donations to contribute to our transport appeal. Make sure you follow us for more updates as we start to prepare for our biggest event yet!
Thank you!
