Challenge The Wild Adventure Festival for Cancer
Donation protected
In late September I will be participating in an Adventure for Life Festival organised by Challenge The Wild and supported by my team from The Outdoor Guide with the blessing of my sister Julia Bradbury who sadly can not attend.
The festival is designed to offer individuals who have recovered from cancer, are living with cancer, or want to support someone affected by this illness, the opportunity to challenge themselves in taking part in adventure-based activities.
Adventure for Life Festival:
The Outdoor Guide:
I'm proud to be leading The Outdoor Guide Team in support of my sister, Julia, who is in recovery from her breast cancer diagnosis and surgery, along with our dear friend Diane who recently received the all-clear from Stage 3 Melanoma.
Over the course of the two days, I will be challenging myself (bad knee permitting!) with a series of adventure-based activities, including waterfall jumping, canyoning, rock scrambling, abseiling and canoe rafting. The Outdoor Guide team will then be donating all funds raised from the event to several breast cancer charities, including Breast Cancer Now, Future Dreams House, and The Pink Ribbon Foundation who have supported my sister in her recovery from breast cancer. We are only too aware of the vital role charities such as these play in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.
I would be deeply grateful for any donations you are able to make, no matter how small.
With love
