Hi and Happy New Year Everybody,
This "gofundme page" is being set up for our dear and precious friend, Russell Boyer.
For those who know him, you know Russell is a very sweet soul who would literally do anything for anybody. He's a great cook, an epic animal lover and loving friend. Though you may never see Russell with anything but smile on his face, he has had more than his fair share of challenges in recent years. He's managed lifelong insomnia, a long term autoimmune disease, fought and beat cancer twice and had signficant neurological issues crop up which resulted in a few falls and a few broken bones. He ultimately was forced to take early retirement and go on disabilty.
His work ethic has never waivered and he has managed to generally stay active and productive by being helpful to anyone in need, whenever and however he can and specifically, by tending the fur family members of a few close friends.
To compound his most recent needs, some previous health issues have returned, requiring immediate surgery. These would be very challenging circumstances for anyone but especially for someone like Russell, who's such a proud and giving person.
And so, as we begin 2017, which hopefully will bring healthy, happiness and prosperity to us all, we humbly ask that you offer what you can to someone who is in dire need and very deserving of some serious good will in the new year.
