Chambers Family Tragedy & Support

It’s been a week and a half. How do you find words, most times even the strength, to sit down and write something like this?

It’s been a week and a half since we lost Mike. Before that, he put up a month-long, tireless and strenuous battle against COVID-19. His nurses and doctors did all that they could. After what seemed like a constant uphill battle, he didn’t make it.

Since the start of the month and for the last week and a half since he left us, we’ve felt pain, sorrow, numbness, and anger. But we’ve also felt the love and comfort from family and friends all around us. While it can’t bring Mike back, our family is forever grateful for each of you and the constant love you’ve shown us. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

We desperately wish Mike could be here with us. To experience big life milestones with his son. To finally break 100 on a round of golf.

To grow old with his wife.

If he were here, he’d be the guy to teach us the best way to seamlessly pay off hefty medical bills in a timely manner and without penalties. He was really good with stuff like that.

Mike also had home projects to finish. A house to renovate. He was waiting for the weather to cool down. Now, with him gone unexpectedly, these projects remained unfinished as we enter those cooler months. With medical bills piling up and home improvements needing to be made before the rain hits, we have created this page for those to express their love and memories to Mike and to help the family he’s left behind.
