Champaign Mural Project

Please help support this project to have Langston Allston, a talented local artist, paint a mural near downtown Champaign. Langston has painted multiple murals in Chicago and Champaign, including at Exile on Main in the historic train station, and at Mike N' Molly's. We want to paint this mural, which will be located at the North First Street Barber Shop, at the end of this month (August 29th-31st). The time is fast approaching! Champaign-Urbana is a symbol of hopes and dreams, of opportunity, and forward-thinking. The goal is to commemorate the challenges and messages of 2020. The mural will have the theme of sustainability and will be decorated with symbolism relating to the environment. The mission is to inspire conversations about important topics. We can't stress enough how grateful we are for your involvement. Every dollar helps!

Whether you can spare $100, $10, or $0.50, you can easily get involved in bringing this project into reality, beautifying and benefiting the Champaign-Urbana community.  We truly appreciate your help, as does the community.
