Percy needs our help again. It’s been 4 years since Percy, at just 7 months old, was found searching for food in a garbage can at the edge of the City of Troy, MT. He was in poor shape and subsequently it was discovered he had been taken up a remote mountain road, doused with gas, lit on fire and left for dead. Percy survived against all odds. In spite of being burned, losing a good majority of his ears going through three surgeries, Percy NEVER had a cross word.
Percy was rescued, cared for by Pet Connection @ his foster home with Juli & the misfit crew and then adopted by Drew & Cosmo. He has been living life to the fullest in Lake Louise, AB with Drew and his brother Cosmo prior to Cosmo's passing in January of 2024. Drew & Percy have been through the loss of Cosmo just weeks prior to Percy being diagnosed with cancer.
On February 5, 2024, Percy was diagnosed with maxillofacial osteosarcoma of the mandible. Drew has been fighting long covid and is on WC, only able to work 9 hrs per week. Money is tight, Drew and Percy need our help.
Percy has the coveted O negative blood and has been a blood donor, giving back to his canine community when he can and he has brought so much joy to those who have met him and followed his story for the last 4 years. Despite all that he has been through, he is one happy boy, always smiling!

Percy has been receiving radiation therapy in Calgary. He has had three treatments as of 3/13 and scheduled for one more 3/18. He will then travel to Edmonds WA (March 26) to receive initial Yale vaccine and three weeks later (April 4) again to Edmonds for the second. He has to have blood work and x-rays prior.
