Chamra and Corie Fauer were two beautiful sisters with Down syndrome that brought joy and love to all they met in our Birmingham community. If you ran into these lovely ladies at the YMCA, Baldwin Library, Grace Baptist Church, BPS or in downtown Birmingham they always made you smile and brought joy to your day. If you were lucky enough to get to know them, they filled your heart with love. It was heart breaking to hear that they both passed away from COVID 19 this month. Our thoughts & prayers are with their beautiful mother, Gloria.
We are raising funds for a memorial bench and tree at the YMCA, across from the Grace Baptist Church. These were two of the Fauer sisters favorite places. Any additional money raised will be used for scholarships at FAR Conservatory, another place that brought joy to Chamra & Corie.
