Methode CMD auf Mission

Hallo, wurden Sie von den vertrauensvollen Blicken der Kinder auf dem Bild angesprochen? Ich auch. Vor allem von der Geschichte dieser Kinder:

Laut UNESCO erreichen in Madagaskar nur 30% der Schüler überhaupt das Gymnasium, die restlichen 70% hören gleich nach der Grundschule auf. Warum? Weil Ihre Muttersprache und die der Lehrkräfte Malagasy ist. Schon ab der 1. Klasse bekommen sie den Unterricht vollständig auf Französisch, obwohl sie weder die Vokabeln noch deren Aussprache verstehen oder zu Hause erlernen können.

Ohne einen angemessenen Einstieg in die französische Sprache ab der 1. Klasse, ist es fast unmöglich, eine normale Schullaufbahn zu absolvieren. Mit solchen Voraussetzungen ist die Armut dieser Kinder und deren Zukunft vorprogrammiert.

1. Wie können wir das ändern?

Der Französisch-Unterricht muss verbessert werden, damit Kinder von Anfang an spielerisch und interaktiv Vokabeln mit den richtigen Artikeln lernen und wiederholen können. Durch einen strukturierten und spiralmäßigen Aufbau, können Themen jedes Jahr wiederholt und vertieft werden, damit die Kinder schon ab dem 1. Jahr vollständige Sätze bilden können. Im Laufe der Jahre kommt die Verneinung und die gesamte Grammatik hinzu, sodass schon nach kurzer Zeit richtige Konversationen mit den Kindern geführt werden können.

Genau das ist das Prinzip der Methode CMD, die Gott mir vor fast 20 Jahren inspiriert hat und die ich 9 Jahre lang in einer Grundschule unterrichtet habe. Trotz bunt gemischter Familienklassen und Kindern mit unterschiedlichen sozialen Herkünften oder Lernschwierigkeiten wie ADHS oder Autismus, konnten alle Kinder ausnahmslos nach nur 4 Jahren richtige Konversationen auf Französisch führen und ganze Texte schreiben.

Vor 8 Jahren gründete ich einen Verlag, um diese Methode zu verbreiten und das passende Material zu erstellen. Gleichzeitig durfte ich sie auch an 3 verschiedenen PHs und in über 170 Lehrer-Fortbildungen unterrichten. Sie hat sich für sehr bunt gemischte Gruppen mit Lernenden von 2 - 99 Jahren als sehr gut geeignet bewiesen und kann an jegliche Gruppe angepasst werden.

2. Wie kam ich auf Madagaskar?

Vor kurzem lernte ich Herrn Neuhaus vom Verein ACSI (The Association of Christian Schools International) kennen. Er ist verantwortlich für die Unterstützung und die Bildung der christlichen Schulen in französischsprachigen Ländern. Ich stellte ihm die Methode CMD vor und er war sofort von ihrer Eignung in den dortigen Schulen überzeugt.

Er schlug mir vor, sie in Madagaskar anzuwenden, weil dort ein dringender Bedarf besteht. Daraufhin haben wir zusammen das Projekt “CMD auf Mission” ins Leben gerufen.

3. Was ist das Projekt “CMD auf Mission”?

Das notwendige Material der Methode soll nach Madagaskar verschifft werden und anschließend werde ich nachfliegen, um den Lehrern vor Ort Fortbildungen zu geben.

4. Welche Schritte wurden schon eingeleitet?

Bei meiner ersten Reise werden wir erstmal 60 christliche Schulen in Toamasina und Antananarivo mit Material und Fortbildungen kostenlos versorgen. Die 60 Sets von Material (je 25 kg) wurden schon verpackt und nach Cutting (FR) gebracht.

Der Container ist schon startbereit und soll im Winter losgeschickt werden und meine 2-wöchige Reise ist im März 2024 während der madagassischen Schulferien geplant.

La méthode CMD en mission

Bonjour, avez-vous été interpellé par le regard confiant des enfants sur la photo ? Moi aussi. Surtout par l'histoire de ces enfants :

Selon l'UNESCO, à Madagascar, seuls 30% des enfants scolarisés atteignent le secondaire, les 70% restants arrêtent dès la fin de l'école primaire. Pourquoi ? Parce que leur langue maternelle et celle des enseignants est le malgache. Dès la première année, ils reçoivent un enseignement entièrement en français, bien qu'ils ne puissent ni comprendre le vocabulaire ni sa prononciation, ni les apprendre à la maison.

Sans une initiation adéquate à la langue française dès le CP, il est presque impossible de suivre un parcours scolaire normal. Avec de telles conditions, la pauvreté de ces enfants et leur avenir sont programmés.

1. Comment peut-on changer cela ?

L'enseignement du français doit être amélioré afin que les enfants puissent apprendre et répéter le vocabulaire avec les bons articles de manière ludique et interactive dès le début. Grâce à une construction structurée et en spirale, des thèmes peuvent être revus et approfondis chaque année afin que les enfants puissent former des phrases complètes dès la première année. Au fil des années, la négation et toute la grammaire sont ajoutées, de sorte qu'après peu de temps déjà, de véritables conversations peuvent être menées avec les enfants.

C'est exactement le principe de la méthode CMD, que Dieu m'a inspirée il y a près de 20 ans et que j'ai enseignée pendant 9 ans dans une école primaire. Malgré des classes familiales hétérogènes et des enfants d'origines sociales différentes ou présentant des difficultés d'apprentissage comme le TDAH ou l'autisme, tous les enfants sans exception ont pu tenir de vraies conversations en français et écrire des textes entiers après seulement 4 ans.

Il y a 8 ans, j'ai fondé une maison d'édition afin de diffuser cette méthode et de créer le matériel adéquat. Parallèlement, j'ai pu l'enseigner dans 3 HEP différentes et dans plus de 170 formations d'enseignants. Elle s'est avérée très efficace pour des groupes très hétérogènes d'apprenants de 2 à 99 ans et peut être adaptée à tous les groupes.

2. Comment suis-je arrivé à Madagascar ?

Récemment, j'ai fait la connaissance de Monsieur Neuhaus de l'association ACSI (The Association of Christian Schools International). Il est responsable du soutien et de la formation des écoles chrétiennes dans les pays francophones. Je lui ai présenté la méthode CMD et il a été immédiatement convaincu de sa pertinence dans les écoles de ce pays.

Il m'a proposé de l'appliquer à Madagascar, car il y a un besoin urgent. Nous avons alors lancé ensemble le projet "CMD en mission".

3. En quoi consiste le projet "CMD en mission" ?

Le matériel nécessaire de la méthode doit être expédié à Madagascar et je m'y rendrai ensuite pour donner des formations aux enseignants sur place.

4. Quelles sont les démarches déjà entreprises ?

Lors de mon premier voyage, nous allons d'abord fournir gratuitement du matériel et des formations à 60 écoles chrétiennes de Toamasina et d'Antananarivo. Les 60 sets de matériel (25 kg chacun) ont déjà été emballés et acheminés à Cutting (FR).

Le container est déjà prêt à partir et devrait être expédié en hiver et mon voyage de 2 semaines est prévu en mars 2024 pendant les vacances scolaires malgaches.

Method CMD on a mission

Hello, were you struck by the trusting looks of the children in the picture? So was I. Especially by the story of these children:

According to UNESCO, only 30% of students in Madagascar reach high school, the remaining 70% drop out right after primary school. Why? Because their mother tongue and that of the teachers is Malagasy. From Grade 1 onwards, they receive lessons entirely in French, even though they neither understand the vocabulary nor its pronunciation, nor can they learn it at home.

Without a proper introduction to the French language from Grade 1, it is almost impossible for them to have a normal school career. With such conditions, the poverty of these children and their future is pre-programmed.

1. How can we change this?

French teaching needs to be improved so that children can learn and practise vocabulary with the correct articles in a playful and interactive way from the beginning. Through a structured and spiral structure, topics can be repeated and reinforced each year so that children can form complete sentences from year 1. As the years go by, the negatives and all the grammar are added so that proper conversations can be held with the children after a short time.

This is exactly the principle of the CMD method, which God inspired me with almost 20 years ago and which I taught for 9 years in a primary school. Despite mixed family classes and children with different social backgrounds or learning difficulties such as ADHD or autism, all the children without exception were able to hold proper conversations in French and write whole texts after only 4 years.

8 years ago, I founded a publishing company to spread this method and to create the appropriate material. At the same time I was allowed to teach it at 3 different teacher training colleges and in over 170 teacher training courses. It has proven to be very suitable for very diverse groups with learners from 2 - 99 years old and can be adapted to any group.

2. Why Madagascar?

I recently met Mr Neuhaus from ACSI (The Association of Christian Schools International). He is responsible for the support and education of Christian schools in French-speaking countries. I introduced him to the CMD method and he was immediately convinced of its suitability in the schools there.

He suggested that I use it in Madagascar because there is an urgent need there. As a result, we started the project 'CMD on Mission' together.

3. What is the project 'CMD on Mission'?

The necessary material for the method is to be shipped to Madagascar and then I will fly there to give further training to the teachers.

4. What steps have already been taken?

On my first trip, we will first supply 60 Christian schools in Toamasina and Antananarivo with material and training free of charge. The 60 sets of material (25 kg each) have already been packed and brought to Cutting (FR).
