Change: Because We Can

Kalpabriksha is a youth development platform that comes up with initiatives aiming to promote the emotional, intellectual, and social growth of Nepali youths. It was established by three Nepali youths pursuing higher education in three different parts of the world with one common goal, YOUTH UPLIFTMENT, AND COMMUNAL AWARENESS. Kalpabriksha envisions it to be the stage where every talent deserves the care and the attention it deserves. We have already organized several programs targeted at Nepali youth audiences. A workshop on Nepalese History was organized, to aware youths of our culture and heritage; and online quiz competitions are conducted every week to promote effective learning. We also organized a Nation-Wide Debate Competition and training programs on the British Parliamentary Debate System. We also have a list of soon-to-be-organized programs. Recently, after the rise in harassment, abuse, rape, and other related cases, Kalpabriksha

is set to speak up and organize "Change: Because We Can," a training program for 9th and 10th graders of different schools in Kathmandu valley. The program aims to teach the concept of consent, reproductive rights, and legal and moral concepts of right and wrong. This training program also aims to impart light on different forms of harassment and abuse. The team of trainers consists of youths currently pursuing higher education in different fields such as law, medicine, education, cyber security, IT, and others. Our team is also accompanied by a survivor, who was abused as a school student and a member of the LGBTQ+ community advocating rights and awareness. Based on our collective experiences, the training program envisions making students aware and enlightened. Via the conduction of this training program, we aim to eradicate harassment and abuse happening in schools of the community. For the conduction of this program, we seek your financial support. Please help us fight this inhuman culture prevalent in the Nepalese community. Publication of brochures, and pamphlets of the content distributed to the students

Stationery supplies required during the entirety of the training program.

Supplies required for mentorship activities.

Gifts, prizes, and praises for the students to promote effective and interactive learning.

Travel expenses for mentors, trainers, and counselors.

(Your donation will be used in the various aspects of the program and the co-founders are going to take the financial responsibility for those areas.)
