Let's Build Change in Mississippi!

We as Mississippians recognize how our state is viewed from the outside. We know that we are either last at anything good or first at everything bad. We are sick and tired of the same rhetoric being preached. Sick and tired of the same people who don't have the interests of ALL Mississippians in their hearts making decisions that affect ALL Mississippians.
It's time for us to stand up for one another. It's time for us to stand arm in arm and proclaim that we won't allow any form of hate to prosper in our state. To recognize that when the least of us are held, helped, and protected that we are all held, helped and protected!
We come here to stand in unity with each other.
Who do we want to help and who's help do we need?
Everyone! Cis, trans, gay, straight, black, brown, white, indigenous, undocumented, naturalized, able-bodied, differently-abled, male, female, non-binary and everyone in between. We want everyone to have a seat at our infinite table, cause everybody gotta eat!
How do we plan on accomplishing our goals?
We plan to reach a wide variety of Jacksonians and Mississippians. Go out into communities and really talk to people about what is affecting their lives. Hold town halls with community partners to get communities discussing the issues. Planning direct actions and community engagement opportunities. We have a lot to do, and we need all of the help that we can get!
It is time for us to organize a collective front. To inform the masses, to bring people together. To teach and to learn.
This is our time!
Help us build people power!
Build community!
Create change and make a difference!
