Changing Lives at Carrington needs our help....

Hi I'm Lucy from Spacebook as a big fan of animals, (having 3 rescue family members 2 cats and a dog) myself and my family will be taking part on a 5k inflatables run on the 3rd of August 2024 raising money for Changing Lives at Carrington animal shelter.

As a mum of 2 boys and 3 fur babies, business owner and busy consultant, our animals are an integral part of our lives, there's nothing better than getting out in the fresh air away from my computer on busy days to just spend an hour clearing my head with Josie dog. Our animals have provided significant help with our mental health on tough days something we are always grateful to them for and something we would like to repay.

This fabulous place rescues cats and animals from across the area in challenging circumstances. Run by Nicole they desperately need funds to help them survive. As a small independent shelter they do not have access to some of the funding and large campaigns other animal shelters do. Nicole and her dedicated team of Volunteers work tirelessly in their own time to look after the animals in their care but are overwhelmed and need help. So please, if you have a love for animals, or even have a rescue animal of your own, please give what you can and try to pay back the love your furry family members give to you by donating to this cause - and making us look very silly running 5k over 32 inflatable obstacles!
