My name is Gisela Velez Reyes I live in Puerto Rico my whole life. I am 46 years old with a beautiful family. I have a degenerative disease called Atypical Pulmonary Hypertension. PAH is a rare and severe disease characterized by pulmonary vascular remodeling, leading to right heart failure and premature death.
Because my health has deteriorated very fast, my doctor advises me to look for options in the United States. I need to make this move as soon as possible to try to improve my health as far as possible. I am a rare and unique case in PR; due to the unique condition, they do not have the experts or equipment to treat this condition. I found Doctor Poch in la Jolla, California, that is willing to treat me and help me in my case, but I will need to travel to California to receive the treatment. In this moment of my life, I need financial support because my health insurance does not cover anything in the US. Please help me on this journey my only wish is to be healthy and enjoy my life with my family. Medical miracles come at a high cost, as we all know.
