Chan-Moore Legacy Fund

This fundraiser was created in honor of my late uncle Scott and cousin Kendra. Scott and Kendra were passengers aboard the dive boat Conception which was involved in a devastating fire this past Labor Day.

-Uncle Scott was an engineer turned educator who touched many lives throughout his careers. He had many passions in life including traveling, electronics, and high-performance automobiles. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Vicki and a dedicated father to his children Kendra and Kevin.

- Kendra had just turned 26-years-old and was a wildlife biologist who had a love for all things outdoors. She was an experienced scuba diver alongside her father. She worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Ventura, CA and was thriving in her career path. Kendra was an extraordinary young woman who was set to make a real difference in the world.

- Our hearts are broken as there is no sense to be made from this tragedy. The above description does not do these two individuals justice. The words written here cannot describe the impact that these two people have had on the lives of the people who surrounded them. They will be truly missed by an infinite amount of people.

-100% of the funds raised here will be donated to Monterey Bay Aquarium, the California Academy of Science, and Ocean Conservancy in honor of the passion Uncle Scott and Kendra shared for these organizations.

Thank you for your contribution and your effort to help us honor Scott and Kendra!
