Chantal's Recovery and Medical Expences

My name is Zach and my girlfriend Chantal was involved in a very severe car accident on Christmas day, the day after her birthday.

This accident has impacted her in such ways we never imagined, and her loved ones are still trying to understand. Chantal has had multiple surgeries and injuries that include swelling in her brain resulting in the removal of part of her cerebellum. She also experienced a shattered pelvis and punctured lungs; which lead to infections. Other fractures and lacerations.

Currently, we are learning the damage to her brain stem is inhibiting the autonomous functions of swallowing and breathing. This puts her on a ventilator and a feeding tube.

Thankfully Chantal is alive, she is waking up and trying to communicate.

Chantal and I do what we can to support ourselves and my six-year-old daughter. I am hoping to get the word out to help with Chantal's medical treatment, for as most people know she is looking at a very long recovery. I just want to be able to help her in any way possible.
