Chantell's son and daughter are providing the following updates:

Chantell has been very recently diagnosed with chronic liver disease. After hospitalization within the last two months. She has been in and out of the intensive care unit. Due to multiple major organ failures. During her most recent hospitalization, she underwent emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding. After which she was medically sedated for more than two weeks. During this time, she was considered to be at high risk of not waking up from her sedation. Miracles do happen! Chantell is proof of that. She came out of sedation, began breathing on her own, started talking, and was moved from the ICU into rehabilitation. Ultimately being released from the hospital to continue treatment from home. That was all within four days.

She is currently at home working to regain basic muscle use, as well as undergoing daily physical therapy. She will be attending regularly scheduled doctor appointments to monitor her progress.

She is scheduled to be approved as a recipient on the National Liver Transplant list in the next 100 days or so.

Any proceeds raised will be used to make sure that Chantell has her home to recover in. We are hoping to help make sure her living expenses are paid. (rent, utilities, groceries, insurance, gas for doctors appointments, etc...) While she is recovering she is unable to run her business. As she has been unable to for months now. This will continue for some time due to her current physical limitations.
