Chantelle and Lyric Recovery Fund

Chantelle Landers and her 4 year old daughter Lyric were victims of stray bullets during a shooting that occured on the early evening of 11/25/2018.  Chantelle was shot multiple times in her leg and Lyric was shot in her foot. They were attending a organized block party event for families that had games and bounce houses for the kids. As they were pulling up to park at the event someone began shooting an AK47. There vehicle was hit multiple times and unfortunately they also experienced gun shot wounds. 

They are both currently stable at a Trauma Hospital in Houston Texas. They both underwent intense surgeries yesterday and are now in early recovery. 

Many people have reached out with kind thoughts and prayers and we ask that you continue to pray for them and our family. If you would like to contribute financially we would also greatly appreciate that. 

Chantelle has many surgeries in front of her and a long road of physical therapy. She will require skin grafting and intense plastic surgery to her leg as well as vascular surgery since she lost many of the arteries supplying her leg. During this time she will not be able to work. 

Funds will be released to Loretta Bustamante (my Aunt and Chantelle's Mom) to help deal with the medical expenses, housing, and other bills during this time. Additionally, Loretta is missing a lot of work during this time to help care for Chantelle and Lyric. 

All of you know how generous my Auntie Lori is in helping others and I pray that we can come together to help her and her family in this time of need. We thank God that the girls are alive and we pray for the other we were injured in this horrific event.
