Chantelle Shoaee's Journey to Rebuild Her Life and Health

Chantelle has been an inspiration to me and many oxygen-dependent people. Personally, I had no idea what she has been going through. She is fierce and constantly helping others, especially helping those with special needs enjoy the outdoors. She is in dire straits and needs immediate funds. Any donation will make a difference.

Chantelle Shoaee’s story is one of resilience, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to helping others. Despite facing severe health challenges after a trachea surgery in 2021, Chantelle has poured her heart into creating Camp ACA (Always Choose Adventures), a nonprofit that breaks down barriers to outdoor recreation.

Camp ACA empowers people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and underserved communities to experience the healing power of nature. Over the past nine years, Chantelle has helped over 11,000 individuals connect with the outdoors, often facilitating life-changing first experiences for many.

Why Chantelle Needs Our Support

Running a nonprofit is a monumental task, and Chantelle donates all her time to ensure ACA thrives. From grant writing to managing volunteers and overseeing projects, Chantelle does it all—without taking a salary. While ACA has secured funding for many projects, operations, and road maintenance, there are no grants to cover overhead or compensate her for her tireless work.

To support herself, Chantelle works as a caregiver, even while managing her own health struggles. She needs our help to continue serving her community and maintaining Camp ACA as a safe and accessible space for everyone.
