Please help Chantelle Walker Diersing

Hi, my name is Kerri and I set up this page to help one of my very best friends in a time of need. As some of you may know, Chantelle Walker Diersing, a beautiful and loving mother of three, has been battling a hereditary kidney disease (Alports Syndrome) all of her life. About 2 years ago, Chantelle started experiencing constant headaches and severe fatigue. After several doctors appointments and tests, she was informed that she was experiencing kidney failure and would need a kidney transplant. Through extreme dietary restrictions over the last 18 months, Chantelle has miraculously been able to keep her kidneys functioning just high enough to keep herself off of dialysis as she waits for an available kidney. This all changed yesterday when she was told during a visit with her nephrologist that her kidney function has dropped to 4% and her potassium, creatinine and BUN levels are dangerously low. She was immediately sent to the ER and admitted into the hospital to begin dialysis.

For the 40 years I have been blessed and fortunate enough to call Chantelle a friend, she has always been an extremely hard worker, many times holding two jobs. We started our first job together at Burger King when we were 15 years old and went on to work several jobs together over the years (Carmel Manor, TCBY and The Cincinnati Insurance Companies). Chantelle is currently self employed and will not receive any income for any time off work so her and her family are in desperate need of help during this time. I know what's donated here will not come close to covering her medical bills, but hopefully it will help with their day to day family needs that go beyond what her devoted significant other, Matt, can provide especially if he ends up needing to take time off work without pay to do what he can to help care for Chantelle while she continues to wait for an available kidney and transplant.
