Charitable Dental mission to Uganda

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting this page! We are raising money for our dental office, Brookstone Dental Care, led by Dr. Matthew Goldring, to send 8 staff members on a mission trip to bring needed dental care to the Gem Foundation in Uganda, Africa. The Gem Foundation is an amazing organization that gives life and purpose to many special needs children in Uganda. We want to do our small part in blessing this great organization, who has done so much more to bless others. We will be bringing dental equipment and our skills to serve the 50 or so children (the
“Gems”), as well as the 80-90 or so full-time workers that make it all happen. We are in contact with two Ugandan dentists that will continue our work with the equipment we leave there. We also hope this visit will inspire other medical groups to follow our lead.
Our cost is about $2750 per person. (includes airfare, lodging, food, and transportation) and there are 8 of us. The first $22,000 ($2750 X 8) donated will go towards that to get us there. After that all money donated will go towards a combination of paying for the equipment and supplies we’re bringing, helping costs for the 12 other Mission team members, and directly to the Gem Foundation itself. That’s how we came up with our goal number. Thanks for considering supporting us.
