Charity Fundraiser for MS WIRRAL

Hi my name is Ben Winstanley and I am looking at raising money for MS WIRRAL for the following reasons.

I have been involved with amateur football on the Wirral since I was 6 and had a very talented teammate called Ashley Miller who was a key member of the team, helping us win numerous league and cup competitions.

Unfortunately, over the last few years Ash has been struck down by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and is confined to a wheelchair. Ash is now under full time care with help from MS WIRRAL and he wishes to raise as much money for them as possible.

We have contacted ex-teammates, opposition players, managers, the Wirral MS Society and there has so far been a great response. Dave Shallcross (ex manager) has booked a pitch at Tranmere Rovers Solar Campus training ground on Sunday 22nd May, 12 till 2pm and plan to have a round robin tournament with 3 x 11 a side teams. The Cheshire Cheese pub in Wallasey Village have been good enough to let us go back there after the game for drinks and we will try and raise some money.

I have set up this Gofundme to help the cause and raise as much money as possible to a fantastic cause and to help Ashley in his bid to generate as much as possible. Ash is an incredible person and continues to live with such a positive mindset on life. Thank you all for reading and any donations however little would be appreciated
