It is a cricket match but also a day family fun day, with entertainment for children, live music, special guest appearances and various attractive donating opportunities.  A barbecue on Sunday will also aid the total amount raised. There will be burger, pint(or soft drink) and a ticket for €10.

It will take place at Civil Service Cricket Club, Phoenix Park, Dublin, June 23rd and 24th 2018. The ground is being very generously provided free of charge, but costs include, admin  (including printing), food, apparel for players on the day & family entertainment.

The match is to celebrate Ireland's cricket team, and their historic elevation to test match status. An Irish team will play and international side with players from each of the 11 test match nations taking part.

The match will played at a good social standard.

No one organising or playing in this event will receive any payment and all funds  after costs will be given directly to  Peter McVerry.
