Charity walk for Weldmar

Do you want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare and every donation will help.

On 21st September, a collection of staff from the Weymouth and Portland Primary Care network will be walking from Royal Manor Health Centre (RMHC) to Royal Crescent Surgery. After departing RMHC we will be walking to: The Gatehouse Medical Centre, Wyke Regis & Lanehouse Medical Practice, Cross Road Surgery , Bridges Medical Practice before finally ending up at Royal Crescent Surgery. This route is expected to be roughly 7 miles.

Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity providing specialist care for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, such as cancer, Motor Neurone Disease or heart disease, and support for their loved ones. Weldmar support patients and their families in their own homes, in the local community, and in our hospice. All services are provided free of charge. 20% of funds are provided by the NHS - however the remaining £26,000 a day comes from fundraising with the support of the local community.
