Charlene, Colin, and Lucy Jo Noonan

On September 26th, our dear friends Colin and Charlene Noonan welcomed their beautiful daughter, Lucy Jo, into the world. Although Lucy didn’t need the immediate heart transplant that was predicted, she has had to fight more than her share of battles — intestine surgery, heart surgery, and now a condition (chylothorax) in which lymphatic fluid accumulates in her chest cavity — all in a short span of 8 weeks. Additionally, Colin and Charlene have learned that Lucy must remain in the (great) care of PCH's Cardiovascular ICU for an indefinite period of time as doctors explore the best treatment options for her lymphatic system.
Colin and Charlene have faithfully served Lucy, and each other, during these months. But there are still plenty of strains and challenges that they continue to face. Having already spent 2 months in ICU and planning to spend an unknown amount of additional time there, Charlene using her maternity leave while still wearing her "nurse hat" daily for Lucy, Colin finding the focus and time necessary for work, and everyone eagerly awaiting the desperately-desired-yet-still-unknown answers for Lucy's path forward — all while living out of a hospital room — are all realities that the Noonans are managing daily.
In addition to the love and support that friends and family continue to provide, please consider supporting the Noonans at this time by:
GIVING >>> Months spent in ICU, multiple major medical procedures, and time away from work all combine for an overarching financial impact that we would love to keep from burdening Colin and Charlene so that they can focus all of their energy and attention on providing the best possible care for sweet Lucy.
SHARING >>> Sharing their story and this link through social media, email, and inner circles will give others the chance to support the Noonans and be a part of Lucy’s journey.
PRAYING >>> For Lucy’s health and recovery, for Colin & Charlene’s marriage, and for God to strengthen and sustain them for any challenges that lie ahead.
Thank you in advance for any way you’re willing and able to give, pray, and support the Noonans!
