Charlene Perdue's celebration of life!
Donation protected
Hey,
Many of you know my mother, Charlene Perdue, passed away on December 8th in her home. She was a huge bundle of joy for anyone who knew her (I mean, check out that picture- she was always goofing around!) and she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. It's been the toughest past few days without her, and it's just as big of a loss for the ones who knew her as it is for me.
I'm making this page, because I am the one who needs help now with paying for her arrangements. My mom passed without a life insurance plan, leaving me to pay the cost of cremation and a celebration of life. (She would want people to celebrate and laugh!) I've never had to reach out and ask others for help because I've always had her to turn to, but I'm her only child and she wasn't able to sell anything in the past few months due to her being sick, so I wouldn't do this unless I needed to. Her wishes were to be cremated and hold a service in the home where she had all her prized possessions in! For those who know, she was proud of her collection and I know she'd want to be surrounded by that and even more importantly, surrounded by all her friends and family.
So I'm only looking to raise 2,000 to help me with the costs of cremation and to hold something beautiful for her at home. Every single penny received will go to her service, and any extra I plan to donate because it's what she would do. So... Any bit helps, and even if you can't contribute, sharing this post with others would help just as much.

My mom's celebration of life will be held after the holidays in her home. We have yet to bring her home, but we feel it's best to wait after the holidays anyway and hold it sometime in January. Will keep everyone updated with a more specific date when it gets closer!

Anyone reading this, know I appreciate all your love and support in this time. I can truly feel how much my mom was loved, and I couldn't make it through without all of your prayers and kind words.
