Charles and Kelsey Flood Fund
Donation protected
Charles, Kelsey, and their handsome dog Porter own a home in beautiful San Diego, CA (well, Porter doesn't own it but he is King).
Recently, their home was flooded from a broken sewer line. This was caused by a backup in the main pipe that is (supposed to be) maintained by the city of San Diego. Throughout their entire home the floor, subfloor, and many possessions were ruined, and, worst of all, Porter was home at the time and was exposed to the flood water. They have homeowner's insurance, but their entire claim was denied as the insurance company stated this is the City's fault. They are now on their own and in a fight with the City to get any part of this disaster mitigated. They will not be able to return home until the extensive and expensive repairs are completed, which could go on for months.
Please help us collect funds to give to this amazing couple to help rebuild their home. If you have ever had the pleasure to meet these crazy kids, I don't have to say anything else. If you haven't, I will describe them thusly: the experience of hanging out with Charles and Kelsey is like going to Disneyland, except your ticket was free and there's no line for any of the rides and every concession stand in the park serves beer and churros. Yeah... that good. They have been great friends to all of us for many years and if you can contribute and/or spread the word it is deeply appreciated.
