I honestly don’t know where to start… but what I do know is that anything & everything can happen at any given moment! Nowadays we’re all so caught up in this fast paced world that we tend to forget to stop and look at the beauty inside every….day, moment even person!! I KNOW I DID

Last year Cj was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in June of last year it was on his tongue and neck, after having a long lengthy operation to remove the cancer, they had to reconstruct his tongue with a free flap from his forearm. We were very hopeful that the outcome would take his cancer away along with the help of Radiation and Chemotherapy. Then the unexpected happened within a month after his last radiation treatment his cancer came back in his neck then down to both lungs. Hearing that news just hit us like a freight train but we still tried to stay positive and started immunotherapy he done one round on the 20th of January, several days afterwards he started having breathing problems more so than before with the partial collapsed lung, he was taken to Person on Sunday the 29th his oxygen level was at a 64 so they immediately ran a code on him to make sure he would have all the help he needed getting back stable. They ran multiple test on him trying to figure out what was causing all of his symptoms but decided with him showing signs of heart failure they put him in for a transport to Duke while we waiting for a room to come available they treated him with 2 antibiotics and a heparin drip after a CT scan showed he had a blood clot in his lung. He is still in the hospital going through multiple test to figure out what kind of infection he has and where the blood clot came from. They wanna start steroids as to that is his best hope for right now to help kick start him into improving since there hasn’t been much improvement within the last 24 hours. With all that being said we would greatly appreciate any help given. We all know things are tough on everyone right now so if you’re not able to donate money wise please donate a moment of your time and say a prayer for Cj and our family. He has 2 children and a wife that is trying to multitask and go back and forth between the hospital and spending time at home with the children. Hopefully very soon if it’s in God’s plans cj will be back at home healthier than he was a week ago…. Thank you all for your time and support!!
