Charles "Brent" Heird and Family

Hello, my name is Tracey. I'm not accustomed to asking for help but I know with what we have ahead of us we're going to need it, we can't do this alone. I don't really know what to say so I'm just going to tell you what happened.
My husband of almost 9 years, and father of 7, Charles ("Brent" to all his family and friends) is really sick. Monday evening, around 9 p.m., he called. I knew it wasn't good because he doesn't usually call that late at night where we're all getting in bed for school. He told me he wrecked, he's a truck driver, and he had no idea what happened, he just passed out. He said his chest hurt and that he called his boss and they were sending an ambulance.
Not 45 minutes later the next call came, he said they told him he had a heartattack and he was being transfered to have surgery first thing in the morning. I was there a soon as I was able the next morning, I didn't even know how bad it was, not until his surgeon called and told me he preformed a quadruple bypass and everything went as good as could be expected. We visited him that day for what little time we were allowed and also the next day. He was transfered Wednesday to a private room and everything was looking good. Until it wasn't.
That next morning at 7 a.m. I got the call. He had took a turn that previous night. His heart had dropped out of rhythm and he had to be resuscitated. After which his breathing was very labored. He was then heavily sedated and placed on a vent. The Dr.s say he has fluid on his lungs which was causing strain on an already weak heart. He's currently still on the vent and still on the heart pump machine as well as several medications trying to strengthen his heart. They are trying to get the fluid off his lungs a little at a time. He will remain sedated and on all the machines and medicine until his heart and lungs are strong enough to work on their own. After which he will need A LOT of recovery time.
We don't even know how long that will be. We are asking for any help you feel so inclined to give our family. Anything is appreciated. All healing thoughts and prayers are welcomed too. Thank you in advance.
