Charles "Chuck" Bosworth
Donation protected
Chuck Bosworth passed quietly this morning surrounded by his wife of over 58 years, Florence and his 5 children, Kristine, Scott, Chuck, Mary and Geoffrey.
Chuck was my father in law who loved his family fiercly.
His volunteer time was dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America in Suffolk County, NY as the Cub Master of Pack 498 and the Scout Master of Troop 398 in Lindenhurst.
Chuck while teaching all of his scouts to be leaders, he also guided 19 of them, including his own son's, to the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most prestigious rank in scouting. Many of his scouts consider him a second father.
His son's as well as his grandsons have kept the tradition alive, working at Baiting Hollow Boy Scout Camp.
In lieu of flowers, we would like to raise funds to build a pavilion for the Baden Powell North Campsite where the troop spent their week of summer camp each year.
Please consider donating to the pavilion so future generations of Scouts can remember him the way we do.
