Charles Clardy

Yesterday our family got the call no family wants which brings me here for help. Charles Clardy Jr. started to have some health concerns yesterday while at home but nothing alarming enough to go to a doctor. Yesterday morning he collapsed while at work but was very fortunate enough his coworkers acted quickly calling 911. He was transported to Halifax Regional where they quickly realized he needed more intensive care from Martha Jefferson (whom has been amazing). Charles is a rare case and right now we need time to collect the answers. Here's what we do know. Charles has had a few strokes yesterday, an hemorrhage on the brain, blood clot completely closing off his right artery in his neck, loss vision and body functioning. The team of doctors set us down last night to share we have 3 options to work through and we will take them step by step. The first option of course brings risk of more strokes but the next two options offer much greater risk. He is weak and tired but he hasn't gave up this fight. His wife Amber is riding the storm out tonight with him while the children and I stay close by at a hotel. We are all scared and needing a miracle fast. Amber just started a brand new job yesterday and will most likely be the only income for a while. If you could help Charles, Amber and there family during this time it would greatly appreciated. We are so grateful for anything you could donate and we are doing our best to respond to text and calls at this time.
