Chuck Ayers Go Fund Me

Over thirty years later, I finally found him! Hello, I am Randy and I am establishing this Go Fund Me on behalf of Chuck Ayers. Friend and fellow veteran of the United States Navy, of which we served together.

As soon as enough donations are received to cover all travel expenses, we will travel to his current location and gather up Chuck, his few belongings and bring him to his new home.

Chuck served 2 dedicated tours in the military and upon civilian life in 2019 he suffered a heart attack and survived what the doctor had called a “widow maker”.

I found that a man he was working for many years had given him room to stay in and was basically doing work for his room and board, (Nothing wrong with that).

Chuck has had no vehicle: owns four pair of pants, half a dozen shirts and one pair of shoes. I found this to be unacceptable by standards that most Americans live within their daily life.

I am asking you to please open your hearts and donate now to help him!

He has almost no income except from odd jobs he picks up and then gives half of his earnings to his landlord towards rent. His survival has existed of eating meals such as a can of tuna, not knowing when his next meal will be. Again, your donations are needed now!

Chuck is a God loving man with a passion for the outdoors and rural living. I have offered to relocate him from the Carolina’s, where he was last stationed, to Missouri. I have some farm property in our state that he can reside on and live a more acceptable life.

Short term goals: Purchase a used RV and make the necessary repairs for acceptable standard living conditions. Establish utilities for the RV. Prepare the site for the RV to reside on and transition all Veteran’s benefits and medical services required for him to maintain a healthier life. I will assist him in the research of all other available benefits Chuck can receive.

Long term goals: Evaluate existing structure and establish permanent living space. Assist Chuck in transitioning into a new and quality of life that he so greatly deserves.

I will willingly provide updates on our goals in securing a new and stable way of life for Chuck.
