An update on Charles as of October 28th 2025.

At this time, I’m still hoping and praying for a kidney. My overall mental health has been good although I’m fighting some abdominal pain that is creating issues with my dialysis. Please pray that we can get this issue figured out. I’m scheduled for another colonoscopy in December. I’m still meeting with different doctors every month. I met with the transplant team in Kansas City at the KU Transplant Hospital in June. They said that my bloodwork looked good. They said that I’m currently number 313 on the kidney transplant list. The wait for a kidney may be another four years or so based on historical averages. We pray that we find a donor sooner.

I want everyone that that has donated to us to know how much we appreciate and are humbled by your generosity. You are helping to relieve a heavy burden.
