❤️ Charles & Lou Ann ❤️

For the past 30 years Charles Phillip Scheller has been the rock and the supporter - financially, emotionally and physically - for my Mom, Lou Ann Joiner Wilson. He has been the love of her life and the one who helped her the most when her beloved son, Wayne, passed away suddenly 18 years ago.

We are devastated to learn that Charles has been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. Although we were hopeful initially that it could be treated, after many tests, scans and consultation with his doctors, we have been told that it is not treatable. He is currently under the care of hospice at home.

I am creating this Go Fund Me in an effort to help Charles and Louann with the many financial needs they are currently facing. Charles was self employed as owner of Collier Ray Exterminating, but obviously this source of income is no longer viable and Lou Ann has only a small Social Security stipend to rely on, which is hardly enough to sustain them.

This platform is not my preferred method for fundraising, as I much prefer to have a benefit fundraiser like the ones I've assisted with over the years at Our Place , Westside Tavern, and Jocks, but given the immediate need and time of year, organizing such an event isn't an option.

My hope is that you will consider this as a cause that is worthy of your generosity. They desperately need this help. We appreciate any amount that you can contribute.
