Help Charles Schuppin’s Spinal Journey to Recovery

 

Meet Charles Schuppin: a kind, talented 15-year-old – son and brother to three -- who broke his neck in a gymnastics. He suffered traumatic injuries to his spine.

The family of Paige and Mike Schuppin have set up a fundraisier to help defray the medical costs of Charles’ devasting neck injury. Charles was in the ICU for six days, had two major surgeries, and has recently been medevaced to Shepherd’s Center in Atlanta for acute spinal injury care.

Unfortunately, the family is now facing increased costs to support Charles’ medical and recovery care, treatments including modification to their home, neck collars & travel ..are not currently covered by the family’s insurance company. The family is struggling to fund that and the cost of Charles’ father, Mike, staying in Atlanta to be with Charles during this time.
