Charles Taylor home going celebration and support

Hello GFM Family,

My name is Cheree Taylor Daughter of Douglas Taylor and I am Charles’s cousin helping raise funds for his funeral cost and family support. Charles was a well known around the Cleveland community for his next level mentoring skills. It saddens me to say that he has past on from this Earth to be with the Lord. Known as a super star, he played as a starting point guard for East Tech High School in Cleveland, OH. Made it as far as Washington State as a collegeitic althete. He was a super star teaching and train as many young teens showing them skills in the game and life.

Charles leaves behind beautiful daughter Charli who just turned 12 yrs the day before passing. His mother Gwen Taylor , brothers who are friends and many cousins who loved him.

Working throughout Cleveland , OH Charles worked in many community centers where he was the mentor to many of his peers and young people who needed guidance. Advise from a young educated black man presented a refreshing take on any life situation.

Well respected and known by many,

He was fighting many battles that people were not aware of but he never complained about his journey in life.

Always made his daughter his #1 priority as he made sure to take the care of her.

Charles was selected as God father to many friends children as he was one for great advice and guidance .

Gone too soon at the young age of 52. He was forced to retire early due to health issues. We ask that you help with an offering for the Taylor family. Our goal of 15,000$ which will help not only with funeral cost but make sure that we send him off the right way. We would like to aknowledge the impact he had on this earth. Making sure we send love and joy to Charli Joi and come together to support her during this hard time. A mother should never have to bury her own child. My Father and family wanted to make sure everyone had a place to leave comments , thoughts , prayers and personal experiences which include your love for Charles Taylor as we know he had a wonderful impact on many.
