Charles Torres COVID-19 Relief

Thanks to all of the donors, we have surpassed our goal of $10,000. We have decided to end the fundraiser. Thank you for all of your support. All of the donations are a testament to how many lives Charlie touched. It is now time for us to mourn the passing of our beloved Charlie.

If you have had the pleasure of knowing our son Charles "Charlie" Torres, you know that he is the most loving and truly genuine person you will ever meet. In spite of Charlie following all of the CDC guidelines and working from home, he and his family acquired COVID-19. On 07/05/20, Charlie was admitted into the hospital due to pneumonia. His condition rapidly declined and he was placed on a ventilator on 07/13/20. On 07/17/20, Charlie was transferred to Scripps Memorial in La Jolla for an aggressive lung treatment because his lungs have failed.  As of today's date, 08/10/20, Charlie is still in intensive care being treated for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). 

Charlie is the sole provider and works tirelessly to care for his wife Maira and help his three children Aaron, Daniel, Rachel and two grandchildren Poet and Rayna. We are raising funds to assist with the mounting medical bills that have already been received and will continue for an unforeseeable time. Charlie has a long road to recovery. Please find it in the goodness of your heart to donate. Any amount helps and will be greatly appreciated.
