Charles Townson Recovery Help

Hello everyone! On 9/24/23 at 4:10 am, my husband Charles was on his way home after catering one of his best friend’s sisters’ wedding. 20 minutes away from our home, he swerved out of the way of a driver who was driving the wrong way on Highway 70. While trying to avoid being struck, he unfortunately hit another car in the process. Charles got out the car, to check on the driver he hit and then was struck by another vehicle. Charles was thrown over the median, onto the other side of the highway. We’re told 20 feet at a speed of approximately 60 mph. Charles’ left hand (his dominant hand) was almost amputated. He also suffered a broken left leg, and multiple broken ribs. Despite his injuries and pain, HE IS BLESSED. He survived such a traumatic accident. Charles is a chef. He provides for our family by using his hands. Standing on his feet, cooking. We never ask for help. And if you know Charles, he’s literally one to take the clothes off his back for someone who is in need. Anything will help during this time. Any and everything is appreciated!
Thank you so much!
