Charles, the love of my life, was born on 9/8/52 in Cambridge England to Glenn M Wayman and Anne Litz Wayman. The proud son of a WWII veteran and POW survivor, Charles grew up in Oxnard and Ventura County, CA and graduated from CALPOLY with a BA in business.He moved his family to Boerne in the 80's and not long after he arrived, began building spec homes.
He was a devoted man of God. His most treasured life accomplishment was that all his children have given their lives to, and follow the Lord. He was an incredible man who loved family more than anything else. His children, step children, and grandchildren were always at the forefront of his thoughts and plans.
Extremely artistic and highly intelligent, he designed and built homes, created board games and puzzles, drew maps and was a talented cook. He was an AMAZING man and could do anything. When he was relaxing, he loved to watch old movies or listen to his vast collection of music. He was adventurous and enjoyed hiking and kayaking, but mostly exploring off-the-beaten path.
He was the hub in the wheel of Wayman Construction and without him, the business will falter. Glen (his son) and I will find it nearly impossible to continue operating it by ourselves. Until we can figure out how/if we can go forward without Charles, our hub and my rock, we may need a little assistance.
