Charley T. Davis Jr. Family expenses for hospital.

Hi my name is Valerie Moseley. My dad is Charley Davis he had a stroke while out on the road working. We live in Upper Sandusky Ohio but we are in Roanoke Virginia he was life flighted here from a smaller town he was working in. Wednesday morning he was in the parking lot of the job he was supposed to start that morning he was dizzy and sick and slurring his words. Thankfully my cousin was with him for the job he got him to an ER pretty quickly. When they got there he got worse the ER had to do intubation because he wasn't breathing his BP and sugar levels were through the roof. That hospital life flighted him to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Thankfully this hospital specializes in Stroke patients they have been excellent. He was actually doing very well considering by Thursday they removed the breathing tube and he was strong and responsive. He did have some coordination problems and he couldn't swallow and his speech was affected but we could mostly understand him and he could fully understand us and the situation. Well yesterday his breathing became very labored and kept getting worse and worse. Around 5 he coded and it was the most scary thing I've seen. The team here got him back in 6 minutes. I was not hopeful last night. He was no longer responsive and they had to do intubation again. That brings us to today he became responsive Neurologicaly throughout the night. He is definitely the weakest he has been. His body is exhausted and bruised from the stroke and the CPR. I am more hopeful today he's still in there I know it's going to be a long time before we can even think of getting him home. That's why My family and I need some help for hotels and food and gas. My wonderful Brother has been covering everything so far. My excellent sister has had some friends giving to us to use for expenses. There are currently 8 of us here in Virginia any help would be greatly appreciated. Love Valerie
