Charley's Liver Transplant Journey

My oldest brother Charley has always looked out for me, protected me, showed up for me and now with your help, it is time for me to show up and take care of him ❤

If you know my big brother you know that he is so caring, kind and will stop what he is doing to help anyone who asks for it. Over the past couple of years he has suffered from some unknown medical issues and recently discovered he has advanced liver disease and is in need of a transplant. My brother is STRONG and will get through this, he is still working and plans to work up until transplant. He will be out of work without pay for a minimum of 5 months and up to a year once the transplant is scheduled and will be faced with mounting medical bills. Update: August 22, 2023 - Charley has passed extensive testing over the last couple of weeks and has been placed on the transplant list and could get that phone call any day(the sooner the better)! Please continue to pray for my brother and his family. He is losing weight rapidly, extremely fatigued and retaining fluid that needs to be drained at least twice a week. He is in pain and it breaks our family's heart. Please keep sharing and praying We love you Charley!!

Update: August 31, 2023 - Charley’s medical insurance has approved the transplant to be covered. He will now have one last meld lab done to find out where he places on the transplant list. We will keep everyone updated!!
