Charlie Allan Needs Our Help!
Donation protected
Hi my name is Randy and we are reaching out with a sincere request for support for Charlie Allan, our cherished CEO at The Clanranald Trust for Scotland. In August, Charlie encountered a life-altering challenge when he sustained a severe leg injury, leading to complete arterial thrombosis in his left leg. This has placed him in a critical condition due to inadequate blood supply to his lower left leg.
After exploring various National Health Service (NHS) options, it has become evident that the only remaining solution, grafting a vein from his right leg, is unavailable due to complications from a previous blunt force trauma injury to his right leg in 2023.
Charlie has always been a vibrant leader in our community, recognized for his roles as an innovator, educator, stunt coordinator, actor, historian and ardent patriot. His zest for life and work, and dedication to family, his wife and 16-month-old son, have inspired countless individuals. Unfortunately, this medical crisis has put those joys on pause, creating both physical and emotional challenges for him and his loved ones.
Fortunately, there is a flicker of hope ahead. A surgeon found overseas has proposed a less invasive procedure, unavailable through NHS, known as Endovascular Thrombectomy which has a 90% success rate, and can provide immediate recovery for Charlie. However, this life-saving procedure comes with a significant cost of just over 25,000 Euros, which Charlie cannot afford.
We are launching this GOFUNDME campaign to gather support for Charlie. EVERY donation, regardless of size, will help him move closer to regaining his health and returning to the life he cherishes. You have our oath that 100% of the funds raised will go directly towards covering the medical expenses for the procedure.
Let’s unite to help restore not only Charlie's health but also his spirit and the joy of being with his family and contributing to the wider community. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Charlie's life. Your kindness is invaluable to him and to all of us who care for him.
