Celebrate Charlie Anna Owens

On April 15, 2023, Charlie climbed onto her unicorn and flew away with the angels, after a 18 month fight with retinoblastoma, a rare and extremely aggressive childhood cancer. She was in her loving home surrounded by her family, chickens and favorite stuffies.

Charlie lived in La Veta, CO with her Mother Meagan Owens, two brothers, dogs, and baby chickens. Over the past year and a half the family had been separated while Meagan cared for Charlie and time they spent in the hospital. They have many expenses resulting from regular trips from their home to Childrens Hospital in Aurora, the family car is in need of repairs, and there are many expected and unexpected costs from Charlie’s passing.

A Celebration of Life will be held in La Veta on May 20th, and a Celebration of Life and Memorial Service held in Castle Rock in early June, date TBA.
