Charlie Co 1 B 5th M Combat Vet Reunion
Donation protected
Charlie Company 1/5 Iraq Combat War Veterans are getting together for a reunion in Las Vegas at The Orleans hotel ballroom on Saturday, November 20th.
I am looking for donations to cover the costs of the dinner and ballroom event.
Your donations would go toward the facility fee, the dinner, the Fallen Men table, bartender fee, sound equipment and a slideshow screen.
This is a great opportunity to provide a safe and uplifting atmosphere for these Veterans and their families to come together, reunite and share their lives as well as remember the stories from their time serving together. Many of these Vets and their families have been through a lot and being able to come together boosts their mental health significantly. A lot of us suffer from physical and mental health issues from our time serving and coming together would give us a chance to heal some of the emotional scars.
Most of the Veterans in this group have not seen eachother since they served this country close to 20 years ago. Your donation would allow these Marines and their families an opportunity to reunite and continue to grow stronger together.
$11,000 is my goal to earn as it will cover the costs of what we need. Any money outside of that cost will be donated to The Semper Fi Fund, who is dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured Veterans.
