Charlie Hall lost everything in apartment fire
Donation protected
Hi, friends, this is Marcia. On the night of January 13, my brother Charles Hall lost nearly everything he owned except his car and his bassoon in an electrical fire in his apartment in Texas. Fortunately, he survived and alerted other residents to escape the building.
A first-generation college student and a classical musician, Charlie knows what it's like to struggle. That's why he doesn't hound his students' parents when they fail to pay for lessons, and he always encourages his kids to stay on track even when they get discouraged. Like most musicians, he is self-employed and lacks good health insurance and retirement income.
Urgent!
- Right now Charlie needs the essentials: clothes, toiletries, formal dress for upcoming concerts and a bassoon case.
- Within the week he will need money for a new apartment, utilities, food, medical supplies, medical treatment for his cat, and a computer.
- In the future, he will need to replace his reed-making equipment for his students.
His needs are great, and every dollar you donate helps him get back to helping his students and uplifting our spirits with classical music!
If you can, please help spread the word about Charlie's misfortune so they can help. And thank you for taking the time to read this plea.
