Charlie Knight

Donation protected

On Sunday, March 22 Charlie Knight was taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne by Ambulance.  He has been on life support in the ICU.  He is fighting a bad case of pneumonia and sepsis which can be a life threatening condition that arises when the body’s response to infection causes injury to its tissues and organs.  It’s been a tough week for Charlie’s family as he is not allowed any visitors due hospital restrictions of ZERO visitors.  The doctors and nurses have been in close contact with Charlie’s family daily.  Charlie has had breathing trials that have been unsuccessful therefore he is not ready to be taken off the ventilator.  Lasix pills are removing fluid from his lungs and body.  He has been given IV Antibiotics for the blood infection.  You all may know Charlie from Menards.  The happy go lucky, always a smile on his face Charlie that helped us design our Kitchens at Menards.  Charlie is described as strong, caring, always has a kind word, making one’s life better just by knowing him, the best boss, someone you’re always happy to see, neighbor, family man, brother, uncle, best friend to name a few.  Charlie is the baby boy with FOUR crazy, caring older sisters.

Charlie has a long road ahead of him.  Everything is unknown at this time.  Charlie will be off work for a while.  He has to use the remainder of his vacation time and then disability will kick in at only $50 a week!  Charlie is one of the most caring, giving people you will ever meet.  Charlie never asks anyone for anything.  As friends of Charlie we are passing the word to ask for prayers and any donation you can give at this critical time.  This money will help Charlie with his monthly bills since he is off work and Medical bills  that are anticipated to be over $100,000. Any amount is greatly appreciated.  Thank you friends and family in advance.  We need Charlie and his body to heal and him not to worry.  Hopefully we will have an update soon that he is awake    But for now he is resting and stable on the ventilator and gets restless when they try to take him off .

Feel feee to check back here every day or two for updates in the afternoon or late evening.  We will be posting here.  Please continue prayer for Charlie and his family.
