Charlie, staff & The Red Lion

The Red Lion, Godalming on the back of lockdown, just as they were allowed to re-open, has suffered a catastrophic fire.  The personal affects of the staff were not covered within the contents insurance.  Not only have they lost their livelihoods but the staff have lost their homes & possessions (clothes, shoes, jewellery, photos, even towels & toiletries everything you own).  

I want to fund raise funds as a Community, to show we really do care and we will help in anyway we can and we WILL come together.  I am only to aware that many of us cannot give money but we can "do" things and so, if like me, money is too tight then please give whatever you can... pop in and show your support  (when open), drop in a plant, a small gift, just give a thumbs up but please help.  Charlie the Manager is a salt of the earth guy.  He goes out of his way to help the less fortunate and more vulnerable and is the kindest guy I have had the pleasure of knowing.
