Cheering For Charlie!
Donation protected
On January 28th Charlie was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has received her port today (1/30) and started chemo therapy. She is on a total of 5 chemos and 1 steroid for the first 28 days. This period of treatment is called Induction. She will be receiving treatment for at least 2.5-3 years. Even though that sounds like a long time, ALL is the most common childhood cancer so it’s got tons of research available for the team. Childhood cancer is SO RARE, but thankfully we’re at an amazing hospital. Any donations will go to bills, food, gas, parking and any other needs while we are in the hospital. our goal is for one month to have just the bills paid. Chris has had to take some time off and even though he has some vacation days, he doesn’t have very many. He will go back to work Monday, and every Wednesday (IF WE GET TO GO HOME Saturday) for chemo and clinic. Thank you so so much for reading, sharing and donating and most of all praying!!!#fightCharliefight #cheersforcharlie#cancerstrongThank
