The moment that changes everything…
For Charles (Charlie) Williams, that moment came on September 8 when he was diagnosed with rectal cancer. His normal workday quickly became an unending series of daily doctor's visits, uncomfortable procedures and tests, chemotherapy and radiation. While he is fortunate to have a great team of doctors helping him along his journey, it is difficult to manage the mounting medical expenses that pile up so quickly. He faces months of radiation treatments, chemotherapy and surgery. Charles has a long road to recovery and we are hoping that the money raised from this benefit will offset some of the medical costs and help with daily living expenses.
A Tomball native, Charles reflects the qualities of our small town: he is a friendly, hard-working man who has never met a stranger (and he can cook a mean brisket!). He is committed to his fight against cancer and is optimistic about his future. It is so nice to see all the love and support that he has received over the past few weeks. Please know that any bit of help is greatly appreciated, whether that be a monetary donation, assistance at the benefit or prayer.
