We are raising money to help send Charlotte and her friend and teammate Christina to the 2018 DECA ICDC Competition in Atlanta .
WHY?
Charlotte and Christina are both sophomores at our local public high school and qualified for 2018 DECA ICDC after placing 2nd for Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making in the February state-level competition. (Wow!)
WHAT IS DECA?
For those of you who may not know, DECA is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service.
HOW WILL THEY COMPETE?
The competition includes briefings, written exams, role plays, and presentations across two rounds of competition.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
The cost to send each of them includes:
- 4-night stay at the Omni Atlanta in Atlanta -- $321.00
- Air fare via Delta to/from ATL and BOS -- $203.60
- Conference registration -- $168.00
- 4-day meals allowance -- $200
WHEN WILL THEY INCUR THEIR COSTS?
Charlotte and Christina will complete their trip to the competition in Atlanta from April 21 to 25, 2018.

We -- Charlotte's and Christina's parents -- agreed to help them run a GoFundMe fundraiser using this website to help pay for the costs of their participation in the competition.
