Charlotte King Kenya Expedition 2024

I am Charlotte. I go to Weaverham High School. I am fundraising for a Kenya expedition, organised by Camps International.

The expedition provides a unique opportunity to explore new cultures, experience different ways of life and most importantly make a difference! I will be helping with projects like building schools, water tank installations and ethical elephant deterrents to protect local crops and reduce poaching.

They are also designed to help young people in the future by way of leadership, communication, independence and problem solving skills. Interaction with local communities, a different culture and language encourages a deeper understanding of how other people live.
