Hi, my name is Charlotte, I am 14 years old and I am fundraising for a once in a lifetime opportunity to embark on an expedition to Kenya, Africa. This expedition will take place in the summer of 2025 and by that time I will have needed to fundraise £4330 for the cost of the trip.
On this expedition I will be a part of a project to create real impact that affects the lives of the communities in Kenya, including the people and the wildlife.
Some examples of the tasks we will be doing are:
- Building classrooms to provide children with safe places to learn
- Digging elephant watering holes to help the elephants to survive in the dry season
- Installing fresh water tanks at schools and villages to enable the communities to have access to clean and safe water.
This expedition will help me experience new cultures, develop life skills - such as teamwork and leadership - meet new people from different backgrounds and give me unique and unforgettable experiences.
It would help me a lot and I would be very grateful if you chose to donate, support and help me fund this expedition.
